Sanda Ladoşi for Eurovision Song Contest 2004

Sanda Ladoşi recorded ‘I Admit’ as a CD single in 2004 by Romanian Television (TVR). “I Admit” is a dance-pop song written by Irina Gligor, while production was handled by George Popa.

TVR held the final of Selecția Națională on the 13th March 2004 where Sandra with “I Admit” received 12 points from the jury panel and 12 points from the televoting and both combined, results in 24 points and send Sandra for representing Romania in the 49th edition of Eurovision Song Contest.

The city host of Eurovision Song Contest 2004, Istanbul and the finale of the contest was held at Abdi İpekçi Arena in Istanbul, Turkey on the 15th May 2004.

Sanda performed 23rd on the occasion, during her show, she wore what an editor from German website Prinz.de described as a vampire-inspired look consisting of a dress similar to those sported by American singer Cher. The author further noted that Sanda’s performance was Romania’s first to contain sexual elements.

Romania came in 18th position with 18 points (10 points from Spain; 4 points from Portugal; 3 points from Cyprus and 1 point from Israel).
